Since we’ve become Riversidians (or is it Riversiders? Whatever.) we’ve made it an annual tradition to go the Mission Inn and see it all lit up for Christmas. In all honesty, it’s peanuts compared to Thoroughbred, but there’s a Christmas-y feeling goin’ on over there, and that’s a good time.
This year, the decorators decided it would be a good idea to get these life sized elves that have heads that turn around and around (not in a poltergeist sort of way, just in a freaky elf sort of way.) So, being me, I made Caden pose with as many of them as we could find.
After we had our fill of freaky elves, we made our way down to the ice skating rink. (I told you there was a Christmas-y feeling down there!)
There was a band at the end of the street playing Christmas music, so Jacob busted out some sweet moves. But he got shy when he noticed that I was taping.
And, because I am a connoisseur of all things “fair foodish” I must share my find! Mini-donuts!!! To be honest, if I didn’t have a free sample, I probably would have just walked right by. But luckily, business was slow so they were handing out these sweet morsels on they street and they were, oh so yummy! They totally kick Krispy Kreme’s butt!
And here’s a cute pic of me and my stallion! 🙂
